Narrative Essay Examples - The National Honor SocietyWhat are National Honor Society, and is it just a story told by narrative essay samples? The National Honor Society is a group of high school students that lead an exemplary life at their schools, but in reality, they live a life filled with dirt, drugs, and poor family life.The story of their story is a short one, though. It takes place over a short span of two years.The first couple months are spent at a private, all-girls school in the country. There, they are all in the exact same group. However, as the story continues, the students have to adjust to the normal routines of a more rigid school.One problem to happen in the early stages of the story. The only interaction between students is through their schoolbooks. While the story does show that the school works to ensure that it has plenty of teachers and administrators for the students, it also shows that they keep the students away from one another.This is done by making sure that the students are separated socially, as well as academically. The students may have just started school but have only had social interactions through a book. This is why they are uncomfortable in their new school.It is so interesting how this was handled in the story, though, because the main characters were given only small glimpses of who they were. In many narrative essay samples, the main characters are shown to be the same personality types; however, in this story, the student population is diverse and you do see each character's personal characteristics.Even though the student population is mixed, the actual class make up is the exact same. The students are sent to an all-girls' school for the same reason. It is so interesting that the story was written by a teacher.To be able to have so much diversity in a story that is based off of such a short and simplistic plot line is something that comes across in many narrative essay samples. Because of the story, I now realize t hat it is even easier to write a good narrative essay than I thought.
